Machine Manufacturer – SAP + Active Directory to ServiceNow Foundation Data

Challenge

ServiceNow needed to be populated with foundation data from two sources: SAP as the master data source and Active Directory for user data. Manual maintenance was not scalable – a reliable, bidirectional synchronization was required.

Solution

Azure Automation combines data from SAP and Active Directory daily and synchronizes it as Foundation Data into ServiceNow. Updates made in ServiceNow or AD are synchronized back to SAP. Azure Automation acts as the central integration layer between all systems.
