Leading hygiene company in the DACH region: Temporary Server Access for External Employees

Challenge

Hagleitner needed to grant external employees controlled access to internal servers without assigning permanent permissions or requiring manual firewall configurations.

Solution

au2mator implemented a self-service portal where external employees can request server access for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. In the background, System Center Orchestrator accesses the Barracuda Firewall via API and grants time-limited access - which is automatically revoked after expiry.
