A company with a hybrid IT infrastructure and numerous third-party applications had a fundamental problem: no central identity management. Permissions were managed in silos, and deviations went unnoticed.
Identities were spread across OnPrem AD, Entra ID, and various APIs. Permission changes happened without a unified process. Security-relevant deviations were caught late – or not at all.
We built a central identity management layer in ServiceNow. All permissions – whether via OnPrem AD, Entra ID groups, or direct API calls – are controlled from there. Azure Automation handles the technical implementation. Regular reports show the current permission state. When deviations are detected, security tickets are automatically created in ServiceNow.
A single point of control for all identities. Deviations are detected immediately and captured as tickets. The company has full visibility at all times.
